Hi Everyone...I hope you all had a wonderful holidays. We had a great holiday here. It was very busy as every holiday usual is for everyone, but also exciting since this was our first Christmas with Logan. And oh boy was she fun...But before I get to all the Christmas excitement I will update you on all the growing up that Logan has done in the last few months. She first started to army crawl, which is where she drags herself with her arms. She did that for a few weeks and then realized she could use her legs and get around much easier. So now she is a full time crawler getting into everything. The last thing that she can do is pull up.
She first did this in her crib. I heard her babbling in her room when I had put her down for a nap and I walked in and she was standing in her crib holding on to the front of it with a huge grin on her face.

She was so excited that she could do this. It was rather cute. So now she can pull up on anything or anyone you put in front of her. I think she will be walking before 1. The only bad part now about her pulling up is that she does this in the middle of the night and starts to babble. Things could alwasy be worse....haha...moving onwards
Our first Christmas was with the Shaver side. We went to Jeramie's sister, Sonja, for the festivities. This was Logan's first time opening gifts and first Christmas party. Everyone was very excited to share this time with her. We had a fun time there. And all the kids enjoyed there new gifts. The children draw names earlier in the month and exchange gifts with one another. Our second Christmas with my friends, at Cortney and Jerrold's (aka...Jay) house. We had a very nice informal dinner provided by Lindsey and Cortney. It was very yummy. We exchange ornaments every year. Either the ornaments are handmade by us or store bought. Our third Christmas was on the actual day. This year we had Alexis for Christmas Eve so she was able to wake up at our house. The year's previous, Alexis didn't quite know what Christmas was all about but this year, she was all about Santa and his arrival. She was very excited. Although, Christmas morning, we had to wake her up. HAHA....
We let her open her Santa stuff first since Logan was still asleep and we wanted to try to get breakfast over with before she woke up. Alexis' big Santa gift was a computer that helps her read, learn etc. She loves it. Then we woke Logan up and let her open her Santa stuff (with mom's help of course). She got really excited. Especially when she opened her big gift from Santa, a butterfly rocking horse, she was so excited to started to bounce up and down.
Christmas was really fun this year. The kids had a lot of fun and we enjoyed watching them. Our fourth Christmas was up at my parents house. Christmas was almost cancelled. My dad came down with the flu a few days before and my brothers family all came down with the stomach flu. So needless to say we were really playing it by ear. We got the go ahead from them to still come to Christmas. Jeramie, Logan and I headed to Mason for the Phillips Christmas.
We had a very relaxing day. It was very nice. Our last Christmas was with the Williams family, which is Jeramie's Mothers side of the family. We had a potluck dinner with them and all the kids got lots of goodies from their Great Grandma and Grandpa. It was a very busy time. Following the holidays, Logan came down with a very bad head cold, following her was Jeramie, Alexis and I (on New Years Eve). That was our final Christmas gift, hehe....
New Years Eve we went to Mitch and Rhonda's for a kids friendly night. We had a lot of fun. There was only one other couple besides us that was there. But it was the perfect size. The adults played games and the kids played. We rang in the New Year with the kids still awake and one by one they all fell asleep. Logan suprisingly was not grumpy the entire night and stayed up until midnight. She must have known that it was a holiday. Followed by New Years, we celebrated my birthday and then Jeramie and I had an adult night out. We went to Jenn Putney and Nate Ernst wedding. Jenn was a bridesmaid at our wedding.

Their wedding was very beautiful. And Jeramie and I felt like adults again. We had a lot of fun. That about raps in up for now. We did receive a new camera from my best friend, and Logan's godfather for Christmas. This camera takes video, I am working on trying to figure out how to get them to the blog...stay tuned...until next time...Happy 2008!!!

Those pictures of Logan in her crib are too cute, they make her look like a toddler instead of a baby.
Happy New Year! LW
Eryn, another fun post! It's so fun to see how much the kids have grown and what you've been up to. What beautiful girls you have. And that picture of our parents is PRICELESS! Holy holiday cheer. Those two are awesome! As always, thanks for sharing and have a great week.
